The graceful curves of this gate beautifully frame the roses in the garden. While adding curb appeal and providing privacy in the back yard this gate is made in sustainably harvested California Redwood. As always, when installing fence posts (or garden gates) add crushed rock in the bottom of the hole for drainage.
This garden bench is made in reclaimed California Redwood (yes - Semper Virens). The lumber came from wooden casks used in the production and storage of red wine, which gave it this wonderful dark hue. The brass plate in the back rest is a dedication to the late Robert Mondavi, who is renowned for putting Californian wine on the map.
This custom bird house is a reproduction of the tower at the Robert Mondavi Winery in Napa, California USA.
The picnic tables were built for the Mairie in Langoelan. These were made for the purpose of providing sturdy, long lasting furniture that will sustain hard use.
One garden gate was made to provide a safety measure between the staircase and outdoor deck. The other gate was made to fully enclose the deck for pet-resistance. They are made in a barn-style using Douglas Fir, ring latches, and strap hinges.
